Get ready to roar with the Suffolk Peanut Festival Motorcycle Rally “Swamp Roar” on October 7th in conjunction with the annual Peanut Festival. Swamp Roar was created to increase awareness of the Great Dismal’s fragile eco-system and to enhance nature-based tourism and interpretive programs for one of North America’s few remaining wildernesses. The 80-mile ride, which goes around the entire perimeter of the Great Dismal Swamp, departs from the Suffolk Executive Airport at 8am Sunday.

Registration Info

Biker registration begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Suffolk Executive Airport on Highway 13, just south of downtown Suffolk. Send-off begins at 10:30 a.m., rain or shine. Pre-Register before September 30th and receive a free event t-shirt (Rider only). All participants will receive a lunch voucher, two (2) beverage tickets and event pin for a registration fee of $20. You can register your passenger for a registration fee of $15. Your passenger will receive a lunch voucher and two (2) beverage tickets. A portion of the proceeds will benefit nature-based tourism, interpretative and educational programs and habitat restoration within the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge.
