Each year the Virginia Beach Fallen Heroes hosts it’s premier charity event – VBFH FreedomFest – and it’s enhancement motorcycle ride – Freedom Ride – to provide support to the families of Naval Special Warfare Operators (SEALS), Special Boat Operators, and support personnel.

Our base of operations of Virginia Beach affords us a first hand experience of the commitment these men and women place on themselves and their families. We’ve gathered many local and regional businesses and residents to plan for one day of showing appreciation through music, spirits, and heartfelt pride. Our event shows our commitment to Hampton Roads and to our military community.

The 1st Annual VBFH Event was planned in less than five weeks after the tragic event of August 6th, 2011 when a Chinook helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan killing all on board, including 31 of our U.S. Military, many of which were Navy SEALs based locally in Virginia Beach. VBFH has grown into its own entity through the steadfast support of local businesses, our Board of Directors and volunteer staff. To date we have raised over $600,000 to support our Foundations.

Join us and share the Virginia Beach Hero experience!
