Radio is my life! Not really, but it seems like I have been doing it for quite some time now. I love all types of music. My favorite songs right now, that I play over and over are by Lady Antebellum, “Need You Now” and Ice Cube, “It was a Good Day with my AK.” (sometimes I feel the pressure). I have a weekend shift on 93-7 BOB-FM that keeps me on my musical toes. (sometimes I just need to hear a little Louie Armstrong) It is a beautiful world! Weekdays, some nights and even some weekends, I am working behind the curtains as FM Production Director for 93-7 Bob FM, WROX-FM and America’s Country, the new US106. It is exciting and fast paced. I really get off on creating spots for our clients. It’s an adventure everyday. You might remember me as producer and host for my shows, Sunday Night Reggae Block, Sunday Morning Reggae Block, The Reggae Show, and Reggae Rave or as the overnight announcer on 93-7 FM, a few years back.
I had my first and last skiing trip this year. That was fun, although I did not ski. All the big mountain warning signs freaked me out but the Ski Lodge and hot coco was great! Here is something else, I have a son, Michael, who is an ex-marine and is the joy in my life. I love all kinds of plants, long walks on the beach, and I like blueberries in my salads! Someday, I hope to produce a show playing music combining all the cultures of the world: Red, yellow, black and white. ( Maybe even some green to make the show, inter-galactic for all the Eve gamers out there).
